This Privacy Policy explains how Databoard (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use Databoard (the “Service”). We aim to collect only what we need to run the Service and to be clear about how it is used.

- Account information. Your name, email address, and authentication details when you create an account or sign in.
- Table data. The workspaces, tables, records, fields, and files you create or upload to the Service. This content belongs to you.
- Usage and AI logs. Diagnostic and usage information such as feature interactions, device and browser metadata, and prompts and outputs generated when you use AI features. AI logs are used to provide the feature, debug issues, and improve reliability.
- Billing information. When you subscribe, our payment processor collects and stores your payment details. We do not store full card numbers.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide, maintain, and secure the Service;
- To process subscriptions and payments;
- To respond to support requests and communicate with you about the Service;
- To monitor, debug, and improve performance and reliability; and
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Subprocessors
We rely on the following trusted third-party providers to operate the Service. Each processes data only as needed to deliver their function:
- Neon — managed PostgreSQL database hosting (account and table data).
- Backblaze B2 — file and attachment storage.
- Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing.
- Anthropic — AI model provider powering AI features.
- Resend — transactional and account email delivery.
- Upstash — caching and rate limiting.
4. Cookies and Sessions
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, maintain your session, and remember preferences. These are essential to the operation of the Service. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect functionality such as staying signed in.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can export or delete your data at any time. After account deletion, we remove your data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
